I’ve Been Told I Have A Crack In My Bond Beam. What Now?   The bond beam is the perimeter structural support of the pool and spa.   If you have a crack in your tiles, or a crack in the top edge of the pool going around the lines of the pool, chances are you do have a bond beam crack.   Depending on where the crack is lacated, either the tiles or the coping stones need to be taken off, the crack repaired, and the tiles or coping stones replaces.   It is a serious problem, but can be fixed with not too much trouble. When do I need to clean my filter and Why do I need to clean my filter? WHEN: The pressure gauge on the computer registers at #15 pounds of pressure. WHY: The filter removes pollutants and gives you better water quality. Water goes from the filter to the heater.   If your filter is backed up, it won’t give enough water flow to the heater and your heater won’t turn on. There is a crack in the part of the pool blocks that run around the top of the pool and make up the ledge I sit on at the edge of the pool. What do I do? Those blocks are called the “Coping” Since they make up part of the stabilizing surface of the pool, they are important to protect the bond beam and the shell of the pool wall.   It depends on how bad the cracking is.   Sometimes just one of two of the coping blocks need replacement.   However, if there is any serious damage, it might need more work.   It just depends on what we find when we inspect it.   That is why our estimates are free.   We have to actually come to your pool and look at the problem to determine how simple, or how serious, the problem is.
