Having a pool skimmer problem?

I'VE BEEN TOLD I NEED A NEW SKIMMER.
 HOW IS THIS REPAIRED?

The Most Common Reason For A New Skimmer Is Due To A Leak.

The procedure used to install a new pool skimmer is as follows:

1.   The pool deck concrete is cut into a two foot by two foot cut around the existing skimmer.
2.   The skimmer is jack-hammered out of the skimmer space
3.   This exposes the existing plumbing and it can be repaired.
4.   The new skimmer unit is then installed and secured with hydraulic cement.
5.   A cement deck patch is then installed around the skimmer on the deck surface

This is a fairly common repair to resolve skimmer leaks
